PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame transfer system that conducts data transfer satisfying user requests in a WDM(wavelength division multiplexing) network where network units are interconnected by OCs(optical channels). SOLUTION: Logic paths different from host traffic and priority of the traffic are defined between network units that are interconnected by optical channels to transfer data, and each network unit is provided with a frame buildup section that reads a user packet according to a scheduler from buffers defined in the unit of paths and builds up a frame having a specific frame length by each logical path and a sequence number, with a frame switch section that selects an output channel by the round robin system as to each path frame and with a means that transfers data onto the logic path. |
