MAINTENANCE METHOD FOR SEALED LEAD-ACID BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress occurrence of sulfation while a battery is left and to lengthen a service life of a sealed lead-acid battery used for a leaving over a long period. SOLUTION: This method is characterized by adding acoustic waves having frequencies less than a natural frequency of the battery to the battery while the battery is left. It is desirable that acoustic waves having two or more kinds of frequencies are alternately added.
