PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate insulation deterioration due to scattered deposition of worm brush power, in a motor, following the life extended by the lengthened brush. SOLUTION: This DC brush motor is so constituted that a cut-out is formed at a part facing a brush holder of a case aperture and a tip of the brush holder has a length reaching a case cylinder at the cut-out, in order to prolong, the service life by stretching the effective length of a brush and to restrain insulation deterioration inside the motor which is caused by scattered deposition of the worm brush powder. A partition composed of insulating member is installed in the peripheral direction edge of the cut-out which faces the brush holder, or further, a circular arc socket and spigot is formed in an engaging part with a case end of a lid. The socket and spigot has a tapered part on the outer peripheral surface engaging with the case with which the tapered part has a gradient of at least 30 degrees.
