PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry a voice outputting device such as an earphone while it is mounted on a body, while its cord is housed in a case when not in use. SOLUTION: A body-mounted voice outputting device 1 is provided with a voice outputting means 3, a connection cord 4, connected via the voice outputting means 3, to a voice output terminal of an electronic apparatus, and a case 2 for housing the connection cord 4 while mountable to a body. A cord taking-up mechanism 10 is provided which takes up the connection cord 4 into the case 2. To be specific, body mounting members 7 and 8 for mounting the case 2 on a body are provided. The cord taking-up mechanism 10 comprises a reel 11 for taking up the connection cord 4, an energizing means 13 for energizing the reel 11 in the taking up direction of the cord, an automatic taking-up mechanism 18 which allows to take up operation by the reel 11 under energy from the energizing means 13, and a cord length adjusting mechanism 16 which fixes the reel 11 to an arbitrary position against the energy from the energizing means 13 for adjusting pulling-out length of the cord.
