PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric resonance component which reduces the variation of characteristics by highly accurately forming a space not to disturb the vibrations of a vibrating part. SOLUTION: In the piezoelectric resonance component 1, protecting substrates 6 and 7 are stuck to each other with adhesive layers 9 while remaining the space not to disturb the vibrations of the vibrating part on at least one principal plane of a platy piezoelectric resonator 2, and resist layers 8 are formed on the surfaces of the protecting substrates exposed in the space, thus adhesives are repelled by these resist layers 8 and the space not to disturb vibrations is highly accurately formed.
