PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity control system or the like having a simple formation, capable of realizing the commodity control having a reduced load on a work and utilizing voice recognition. SOLUTION: In a host computer 1, information on commodities which are control objects, and a word list and a grammar required for the voice recognition on respective commodities are memorized in an inventory control data file 13. A printing part 16 prints the word list and the grammar of each commodity with a bar code, and sticks the bar code on a commodity case or the like under inventory control. In a portable POS terminal device 2, a bar code reader 25 reads the bar code stuck on the commodity case or the like, and allows the bar code to be memorized in an inventory control data file 24. When a worker reads out the state of inventory commodities and inputs the state from a microphone 26, a voice recognition part 22 executes the voice recognition based on the word list and the grammar memorized in the inventory control data file 24, and a processing part 21 executes processing necessary for the inventory control. |
