PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server device wherein different covers or different covers and different rear covers which are intended by a user are inserted into the same printing data and the printed result of the designated number of copy portions in which a manuscript image and printing data are overlaid can be obtained with good efficiency in an intermediate page. SOLUTION: The server device is constituted in such a way that, when an insertion mode is set, a job selection list controlled by an image server 200 is acquired so as to be displayed on a display unit, that the kind of a job spool added to every job selected from the job selection list being displayed is analyzed, that the readout of a manuscript whose image is input is controlled by scanner controller 101, that the manuscript image to which an image is input is inserted as a cover and a rear cover, and that a desired manuscript image and the printing data are overlaid and printed. |
