PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar battery having small variations in its characteristics. SOLUTION: A solar battery is formed of a single-crystal CZ silicon wafer, in the manufacturing method. The single-crystal CZ silicon wafer with initial inter-grating oxygen density of 15 ppma or less is used in the manufacturing method. A single-crystal CZ silicon wafer with initial inter-grating oxygen density of 15 ppma or less is used in the solar battery. In addition, a single crystal CZ silicon wafer with BMD density of 5×108/cm3 or less is used in the solar battery, made of the single-crystal CZ silicon wafer. |
