SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing the positive electrode active material for lithium secondary battery has a mixing process for mixing at least one kind of the aluminum metal and the aluminum compound with the lithium compound and the manganese compound so as.to obtain the mixture, a first burning process for holding the mixture in a temperature range at 600 deg.C-650 deg.C so as to obtain the intermediate burned material, and a second burning process for holding the intermediate burned material in a temperature range at 900 deg.C-950 deg.C so as to obtain the lithium-manganese compound oxide having the spinel structure. |
