PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal of which the key operations conducted by a user at selection of function information is simplified while the user can see all pieces of function information, for example. SOLUTION: This portable terminal T has a plurality of functions, namely, a display means 1 which displays function information to specify a function on a screen, a setting reception means 2 which accepts the setting, denoting whether or not the function information is to be selected, from a user, a storage means 3 which stores the selected setting information set by the user while making the information correspond to the function information, a function information display control means 4 which allows the display means 1 to display function information set to be selectable and function information not set to be selectable on the screen, the selection instruction reception means 2 which receives a selection instruction of the function information from the user, and a selection control means 5 which allows the user to select only the function information set to be selectable according to the selection setting information, from among the function information displayed on the screen.
