PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control an SR motor such that forward and reverse toques are generated easily. SOLUTION: The controller for switched reluctance motor comprises a maximum current phase selecting section 91 receiving the winding current of each phase, a detection phase selecting section 92 receiving the winding voltage of each phase and an exciting phase signal outputted from the maximum current phase selecting section 91, a section 93 for operating the number of interlinking flux based on a winding current i outputted from the maximum current phase selecting section 91 and a winding voltage outputted from the detection phase selecting section 92, a magnetization curve modeling section 94 receiving the number of interlinking flux and the winding current and outputting a pair of temporary rotational position angles based on a magnetization curve model, a phase correcting section 95 for correcting each temporary rotational position angle based on the exciting phase signal, and a section 96 for selecting one of a pair of outputs from the phase correcting section 95 based on the torque polarity and outputting it as a rotational position angle. |
