SOLUTION: A commodity information file 141 holds commodity codes 141A, ordinary sales prices 141B, flags 141C set at prescribed values by a renewal part 15 at the discount sale time, and commodity classification codes 141D, relative to each commodity. A classified price information file 142 holds price change information 142B showing discount amounts or discount rates to the ordinary sales prices 141B in each commodity classification code 142A of discount sales objects. A control part 11 of a POS terminal acquires the ordinary sales price 141B corresponding to the commodity code of a sales commodity, the flag 141C, and the commodity classification code 141D from the file 141, and when the flag 141C is a value other than a prescribed value, determines the ordinary sales price 141B as a sales price, and when the flag 141C is the prescribed value, acquires the price change information 142B corresponding to the commodity classification code 141D from the file 142, and determines the sales price based on the ordinary sales price 141B and the price change information 142B.
