PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phone response system that can automate transfer of phone calls and message delivery works by phone operators or a person in charge of front in a hotel, a hospital or a company or the like. SOLUTION: The phone response system is provided with a connection means 13 that connects a line 10 of a caller to a specific telephone set 17 among plural phones via a relay line 11 or 12 automatically or via an attendant board, a reply means 19 that replies the caller by recognizing a pattern of a voice signal in the relay line 11 or 12, and a display means 22 that records a message when receiving the message from the caller and allows the telephone set 17 with a specific guest room number to display indication of the arrival of a message.
