PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an unnecessary stress from being applied to the body side of a rotary knob when the knob is turned. SOLUTION: In a rotary knob in which an engaging section 23 which is detachably engaged with a fixed-side engaging section 22 to position the rotation of the rotatably supported rotary knob 3 is installed to the knob, an engaging frame body 19 formed in an arcuate shape along the direction of rotation of the knob 3 is installed to the knob 3, and the engaging section 23 is installed to the frame body 19. The frame body 19 is formed thinly so that the body 19 may easily be deformed elastically.
