PURPOSE: A remotely controlled computer system is provided to reads a received remote control signal in a monitor microprocessor of a monitor according to a remote control signal of a remote controller capable of sequence record through an abbreviated key and successively drive the monitor and a computer body. CONSTITUTION: A remote controller(10) has a key switch unit(11) having a plurality of function keys capable of key input by one-touch, and a remote controller microprocessor(12) for reading a key command of a uniform sequence stored in a memory(14) by an abbreviated key input of the key switch unit(11) and successively outputting a remote control signal. The remote controller(10) has a remote controller light emitting unit(13) for converting the remote control signal outputted from the remote controller microprocessor(12) into an optical signal and outputting the optical signal, and a memory unit(14) for storing the sequence of key signals outputted from the key switch unit(11). A monitor control unit(20) has a remote controller light receiving unit(21) for receiving the remote control signal outputted from the remote controller(10) and converting the remote control signal into an electric signal, and an expanding hub(23) for connecting a mouse or a keyboard. The monitor control unit(20) has a monitor microprocessor(24) for receiving a remote data signal according to the remote control signal provided from the remote controller light receiving unit(21) and an expanding hub signal provided from the expanding hub(23), analyzing a successively provided key command data signal and the expanding hub signal, and selectively outputting a monitor control signal or a PC control signal to a monitor communication port(24-1-1) or a PC communication port(24-1-2). A PC receives the expanding hub signal or the PC control signal outputted from the monitor microprocessor(24) through a communication port and successively performs various controls.
