<p>A band-shaped material is coated with sliding material, blanks are punched out, and the blanks are formed into bearings. A blank is stamped forming at least two expansion and holder sections, which maintains the connection of the blank to the next blank or to the band during forming. After the forming process, the bearing is separated from the holder and expansion sections. The sections are non-flexible in longitudinal blank direction, but are flexible in transverse blank direction. The forming appliance consists of a forging die, a forming ball, each with a forming slide on each side. The slide has an angled surface to engage with a vertically moving driver wedge.</p> |
