Hot runner nozzle for an injection mold (6) has a centering section (11) between the nozzle shaft (3) and tip (10). This can be pressed into a socket (9) in a mold fitting (7) to form a seal. A sealing ring (13) is positioned between the centering section and the walls (12) of the socket. This consists to a large extent of an insulating, heat- and compression-resistant plastic.
