An Independent claim is also included for an engine arrangement for compression ignition (10) comprising an exhaust gas post treatment device (110) with a particle filter, a power-reinforced turbocharger (14), and a control device. Preferred Features: The step of determining a charge value of the current source comprises comparing the charge value with a maximum charge value and a minimum charge value. The step of connecting the current source comprises feeding a negative power to the turbocharger when the exhaust gas temperature lies below the required exhaust gas temperature value and the charge value lies below the maximum charge value.
