The method for connecting and adjusting the position of a pump and drive motor comprises fitting the pump flywheel assembly (4a, 4b) on the motor shaft (1a). The pump casing assembly (24) is then pressed over this and the gap between the casing and the mounting flange (2) of the motor filled with a curable plastic. When this has cured, the casing is bolted on to the flange. An Independent claim is included for a system for connecting and adjusting the position of groups of components as descried above.
