PURPOSE: A musical instrument colored with a sound color conversion table using a harmony method is provided, which deduces a harmonized color from a harmonized music, and recognizes each musical scale with color while playing a music by coloring the musical scale position by the sound color conversion table. CONSTITUTION: According to a method for selecting harmonic color, a musical scale division rate and a harmony method cord are selected. And a reference color is selected, and a brightness of the selected reference color is calculated. Then, an octave corresponding to the calculated brightness is determined. And a harmony color is calculated from a reference color frequency on the basis of a harmony frequency rate of the selected harmony method cord in response to a musical scale frequency ratio in the determined octave, and the harmony color frequency is converted into a visible frequency band when the calculated harmony color frequency is out of the visible frequency band. And the calculated harmony color frequency is displayed as a harmony color of the reference color.
