<p>The invention concerns a transparent or translucent paper, comprising optical elements whereof the largest dimension is less than 1 mm, preferably less than 0.5 mm. The optical elements are in the volume of the paper or deposited at the surface thereof. The optical elements are metals deposited by vacuum plating. Preferably, the paper comprises optical elements according to a minimum density of 100 optical elements per cm2. The invention is useful as printing or writing paper or for making envelopes.</p> |
