The assembly for moving a person from one position to another has a base (1) with a rotating turntable (2). At least one vertical holding support (16) is near the turntable, for the patient to be given a temporary support. At least two vertical holding rods (17), to prevent tipping, are placed radially outwards on the base, with a gap between them which is equal to or larger than the width of a normal person. At least one support structure extends radially outwards, near the holding rods.
