A hydraulic device (A) is filled with liquid of up to a known pressure and closed off. The hydraulic device (B) is filed with liquid of up to another known pressure and closed off. The hydraulic devices are connected with their pressures adjusted, and the adjusted pressure is measured. A mathematical model of the hydraulic devices is simulated in a computer until the adjusted pressure is yielded. An Independent claim is also included for a physical parameter determining device.
