The double door has a door frame (3) enclosing 2 door panels (1,2) operated via respective drives (5), each cooperating with a slider displaced along a sliding rail (4) and with a pivot arm (6), the closure sequence for the 2 door panels regulated via a closure sequence regulator with transmission elements (8,9) coupled to each drive. At least one door panel can be locked via a locking element (11) fitted within the sliding rail, with the transmission elements slid horizontally within the sliding rail.
