The system for the feed of loose bulk material has a pressure measuring instrument (7) tapped into the feed line (4) to record the vacuum pressure in the line and to generate a control signal. A valve (9) is incorporated in a feed device (3) for the transporting gas and its opening for the through-flowing transporting gas is regulated by a control unit (8) depending upon the magnitude of the vacuum pressure in the feed line. The valve is pneumatically or electrically operated.
