The transceiver system (10) has a dither oscillator (40) that feeds its output into a coupling network (42) from which the two outputs (44, 46) go to a pair of oscillators (12, 22). The pair of oscillators (12, 22) are linked with a controller (26) and also with a pair of drivers (17, 25). One of the drivers (17) has its outputs fed into a transmitter (14) and into a TDR transceiver (32) and into a receiver (20). The transmitter (14) is linked to an antenna (16). The receiver (20) is linked to another antenna (18) and to a baseband processor (24).
