The invention relates to a method for producing adhesive polyacrylates by means of radical polymerisation. Said method is characterised in that mercapto functional photoinititators of formula (I) and/or (II) are added to the monomer mixture or the reaction mixture. R and R' are independently selected from the following groups: a) benzophenone, acetophenone, benzil, benzoin, hydroxyalkyl phenone, phenyl cyclohexyl ketone, anthraquinone, thioxanthone, triazine, or fluorenone radicals, each of said radicals being able to be substituted with at least one halogen atom and/or at least one alkoxy group and/or at least one amino or hydroxy group, and b) radicals containing at least one of the substituted or non-substituted radicals cited in a).
