Associated with each terminal is a circuit associated with the periphery interface that allows the central computer to recognize from which terminal input originates. This enables calibration of the touch panel of each terminal individually with the touch panel calibration stored in a memory cell that relates to a particular terminal. Any input received from an input touch pad can be associated with a terminal and the relevant calibration data used to interpret the input. An independent claim is made for a computer system that uses a central computer and a number of operating terminals connected to it with touch pad input screens.
