PURPOSE: Provided is a method for manufacturing activated carbon and regenerating spent activated carbon using microwave, where microwave is irradiated on spent activated carbon to activate micropore by desorption of adsorbed materials on the activated carbon. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing activated carbon and regenerating spent activated carbon using microwave is characterized in that microwave having a frequency of 2.4 to 2.5 GHz is irradiated on spent activated carbon in the temperature range of 700 to 900deg.C while applying at least one activator selected from carbon dioxide, air and water vapor.
