SPLIT-FLOW-TYPE FLOWMETER

摘要

PURPOSE: A split-flow-type flowmeter is provided to detect a regular flow component and a backflow component with equivalent response properties. CONSTITUTION: A flowmeter measures flow velocity especially when a pulsation occurs in a main-flow pipe(10), an object to measure, by diverting a part of flow in the main-flow pipe into a split-flow passage(1a) having a structure of a flow path structure symmetrical with respect to a plane passing through the detective element and an inlet(2a) and an outlet(2b) open opposite to each other along a flow direction in the main-flow pipe and placed symmetrically with respect to a section of the flow in the main-flow pipe so that centers of openings of the inlet and the outlet are placed near a center of the section of the flow in the main-flow pipe rather than an average-flow-velocity position of the flow in the main-flow pipe in the section of the flow in the main-flow pipe and detecting flow in the split-flow pipe using a detective element contacting with an inside of the split-flow passage.
