PURPOSE: An insurance cart is provided to activate electronic commerce through the Internet by enabling a consumer to use an insurance cart in case that the consumer want to take out an insurance for articles to be purchased by the consumer, and by enabling the consumer to automatically register in the insurance. CONSTITUTION: An insurance cart is inserted into each shopping mall. The insurance cart is a database capable of interlocking a program for automatically processing an insurance with the management of the insurance. In case that a consumer applies the insurance to a purchasing article, information on the consumer is transmitted to a main server of the insurance cart. In case of paying the price for the article, the consumer is automatically insured. Information related to the insurance is automatically transmitted to the consumer. All sorts of purchasing articles to be purchased using the insurance cart are automatically registered in the insurance. After that, the consumer can easily benefit by the insurance. In addition, a seller can simply be compensated by the insurance for articles sold by the seller using the insurance cart. Therefore, the consumer and the seller can easily benefit by the insurance. According to that, electronic commerce can be activated.
