PURPOSE: A system and method for transmitting news using the Internet is provided to simply operate a meeting by accepting person as members, by managing schedules for the person for the meetings, and by automatically transmitting news to be reported to each member. CONSTITUTION: A system server(20) is composed of a web server(22), a bulletin board database(24), a member database(26) and a plurality of meeting database(42-48). The web server(22) is connected with user computers(10-16) through the Internet. The bulletin board database(24) specially processes and stores bulletin board information in case that members connect to the system server(20). The member database(26) accepts and stores user members and group members as members. A plurality of meeting database(42-48) respectively store meetings registered by the members according to sorts of the meetings. An e-mail server(28) is connected with the system server(20) for reporting messages to each member. In addition, a mobile phone message server(30) is connected with the system server(20) for transmitting messages.
