The invention relates to a method and a system for the optical imaging of vehicles, comprising a first device (1) which determines the speed of vehicles, a control device with a control programme of such a configuration that, within the frame of a first check, it is determined whether or not a vehicle is exceeding a given speed. According to the invention, the system comprises a second device (2) which in the frame of a second check, determines whether data may be transmitted from or to the vehicles, within the frame of a connected communication link. The system controller is embodied such that the system can only be activated for optical imaging when the first and second check each give a positive result. |
