<p>A recloseable bag and a method of manufacturing recloseable bags utilizes a track or fastener (14) having a male track with a male profile, a female track with a female profile and fins (28,34) extending from the profiles. The male and female profiles are releaseable engageable to each other. A web of bag material is advanced and slit to form coplanar, side-by-side web portions (16 and 18). Each of the fins is sealed to one of the facing surfaces at first edges of the side-by-side web portions so as to attach the track with its releasably engageable profiles between the two web portions. The fins may be joined along an edge opposite the profiles, and scored to define a tamper-evident feature.</p> |
