An electrical machine runs as an asynchronous machine with a slotted stator (4) and slotted rotors (6,8). A stator iron core (16) has an essentially spiral-shaped coil (18), whose axis runs in an approximate peripheral direction to the stator iron core. Between the stator and each rotor there are air gaps (10,12). The rotors sit on a common shaft (14).
