PURPOSE: A system and method for providing information by intermediating the data communication network are provided to raise members' interest about social issues through a game by enabling the members to take virtual measures against stress cause providers by personal members and groups, thereby the members to get rid of stress and receive accurate information. CONSTITUTION: Members(10) are equipped with the first to the Nth member terminal(12a-12n) and the first to the Nth member modem(14a-14n) capable of connecting the member terminals(12a-12n) to a data communication network(20). The data communication network(20) provides a communication path for performing a communication with an information providing system. A data providing server(30) provides all sorts of data files. A bank server(40) manages accounts of the members(10). An authorization server(50) is connected with the bank server(40). In addition, the authorization server(50) identifies the members(10) and estimates the members' credit rating. An operation unit(100) receives data from the data providing server(30) and stores the data in a database.
