A wheel hub assembly, particularly for an aircraft, comprises two hub portio ns (1, 2) bolted together at intervals around their circumference by bolts (10) having a conical profile and seated in countersunk portions (9) of the bolt holes. The included angle of the conical profile is preferably in the range 85~ to 140~. This arrangement reduces the maximum principal stress in the hu b during use and tends to alleviate fretting damage at the interface of the hu b portions.
