PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically calibrate a measuring system, to eliminate a calculation error and an input error and to reduce the labor of a measuring operator, by automating the temperature calibration operation of a thermoanalyzer. SOLUTION: An autosampler 30 is installed, in such a way that a temperature standard substance which is placed at a prescribed position and whose melting temperature is known is gripped by a sample gripping part 35 to be automatically conveyed to the measuring sample side S of a detector 11 in the thermoanalyzer. A thermoanalysis is conducted, according to a program which is designated in advance by a computer 20. The difference between melting data Tm on the measured temperature standard substance and known data Te is calculated by the computer 20, and a correction value is found. A correction valueΔTc(Tm) is stored, and the temperature calibration of the thermoanalyzer is conducted by using the correction value, so that the accuracy of temperature measurement is maintained.
