PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single lever combination faucet capable of preventing the occurrence of such problems that water in a bore cannot be drained and a lever handle cannot be closed because chips and wear powders peeling off from a packing are plugged up in a drain groove due to cutting and wear of the packing after the use for a long time. SOLUTION: An operation block is provided between a movable valve plate and a lever, a guide ring guiding the operation block in the direction of opening and closing of the movable valve plate is provided around the operation block, and the operation block is provided with the bore opening an end face on which the movable valve plate faces the direction of valve closing and a piston which comes in and out freely for the bore and whose protruding end is substantially restrained by the guide ring. The piston is provided with a hole communicating the bore with an external flow passage, a minute groove part is provided in at least either of substantially restrained end face part and a surface part of a mate member with which the end face part comes into contact, the inside of the bore is communicated with the external flow passage on the downstream side more than the movable valve plate by a water supply passage and a water drain passage of two systems, and a flow rate of water passing through the water supply passage per unit time is larger than that of water passing through the water drain passage.
