PURPOSE: A system and method for evaluating and reporting popularity rate are provided to enable a user to vote regardless of place or time and to receive the result in any time and in any place. CONSTITUTION: Information is stored in a database by selecting at least two evaluating popularity rate objects(S100). Information with respect to a popularity rate evaluating objected item is suggested to a user connected through a mobile communication network and/or a web(S110). A selection of an affirmative evaluation or a negative evaluation is received with respect to a popularity rate evaluating object from the user(S120). In case that the user inputs an affirmative evaluation, the first value is added to the current popularity rate value of the popularity rate evaluating object. In case that the user inputs a negative evaluation, the second value is subtracted from the current popularity rate value of the popularity rate evaluating object. Thus, a popularity rate and an order are updated(S130). A database is updated by storing popularity rate evaluating object information including updated popularity rate and order(S140). The popularity rate and order of the popularity rate evaluating object are reported by responding to a selection of the user connected with a mobile communication network and/or web(S150).
