摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical component having a lowered internal absorption to light of 200-450 nm wavelength. SOLUTION: In the light transmitting optical component in which light is incident on the substrate from the light incident plane and the incident light emits from the light emitting plane of the substance, conditions of the expression 0<=100-T (l0)-R1 (λ0)-R2 (λ0)<=8 are satisfied in the wavelength region of 200-450 nm, whereinλ0 is the wavelength (nm) of specified transmitted light in the wavelength region of 200-450 nm; T (λ0) is the transmittance (%) of the optical component at the wavelengthλ0; R1 (λ0) is the reflectance (%) of the light incident plane at the wavelengthλ0; and R2 (λ0) is the reflectance (%) of the light emitting plane at the wavelengthλ0.
