ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC TONER AND METHOD FOR FORMING IMAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner and a method for forming images by which image quality in the same level as the initial images can be obtained even after continuous copying and after the toner is left for a long time particularly in the method of single-component development. SOLUTION: Inorganic fine particles having 100 nm primary average particle size subjected to deposition of silicone oil having <=50% isolation rate and to heat treatment are used as the external additive for the toner. Also a chromium complex or salt of salicylic acid or a chromium complex or salt of alkylsalicylic acid is used as an electrification controlling agent.
