PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate trouble that moire-state irregularity is caused by positional relation between a fine optical action part regularly arranged in order to give a light diffusing action to a focusing screen and a prism constituting a display index within a finder. SOLUTION: In this finder device, the focusing screen 5 having the light diffusing action is arranged near a scheduled object image formed surface in a finder optical system, and prism assemblies 5a to 5e constituting the display index within the finder are formed on the focusing screen. Plural fine optical action parts 105g for obtaining the light diffusing actin are regularly arranged and formed on the focusing screen, and plural prism parts constituting the prism assembly are formed by leaving fixed space in between, and the shape of an area between the plural prisms, which is put between the prism parts on the focusing screen and includes at least a part of the fine optical action part, is made the same each other.
