PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a light emitting display device having such a structure that wiring patterns on the wiring board can be easily changed according to the emission color of a required back light so as to increase the general-purpose property. SOLUTION: In the light emitting display device 1 used for a microwave oven or the like, the circuit for a required number of the light emitting elements LED1 to 5 mounted on the print wiring board 4 of the back light 3 can be switched between a first wiring pattern to connect the light emitting elements in parallel as separated by the required number of the light emitting elements according to the emission wavelength and a second wiring pattern to connect the all elements in series. Thus, the back light 3 with different emission colors can be formed by using the single print wiring board 4.
