PURPOSE: A system and method for supporting electronic commerce is provide to communicate with the web site side and simultaneously perform a shopping in case that the users perform electronic commerce on the network. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of user PCs(110) are connected with an electronic commerce server(130). In addition, the user PCs(110) receive services. A plurality of consulting PCs(120) provide detail information on a product in real time in case that a customer connects to the electronic commerce server and makes the server a request for consulting for the product. The electronic commerce server(130) performs electronic commerce. A communication network(100) performs a communication connection between the user PCs(110) and the electronic commerce server(130). The user PCs(110) transmit information on the customer's request for the product to the electronic commerce server(130). The consulting PCs(120) are equipped with programs for supporting consultation with customers.
