PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analytical method accommodating to drop in magnetic force, deterioration in performance of a magnetic head, and variation in a magnetic recording period, and also accommodating to various kinds of recording densities. SOLUTION: This analytical method for magnetic information is composed of a readout processing for reading out magnetic information, conducting AD conversion of an amplified analog signal in the prescribed conversion period, and storing AD conversion data comprising a sampling number and a voltage value, and an analytical processing containing the following processing; (a) Processing for executing prescribed formula manipulation from stored AD conversion data and preparing ±peak position information of the voltage value; (b) processing for obtaining requiring data between peaks from the difference between sampling numbers of the obtained peaks; (c) processing for deciding 0 or 1 by comparing the obtained data between peaks with a reference value; (d) processing for searching a start code from the obtained decision data; (e) processing for deciding a code by checking whether a prescribed wave form level pattern is present or not in the decision data; and (f) read data checking processing for deciding whether data is good or not on the basis of the obtained code. |
