PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof structure for compact portable equipment capable of maintaining excellent waterproof performance and moisture-proof performance for a long period and using an O-ring. SOLUTION: This waterproof structure for compact portable equipment is constituted such that the O-ring made of NBR rubber reacting with hydrogen as a main component is arranged and used and its packing is formed by reacting NBR rubber with hydrogen, hydrogenating carbon and carbon unsaturated bonding part of butadiene selectively, forming carbon and carbon saturated bonding, and using hydro-NBR rubber shown in chemical formula (I) as the main component.
