PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fireproof wall capable of securely covering a joint part to resist fire by smoothly following shake and movement of buildings and moving even if the buildings on the right and left shake and move greatly in different forward, backward, right, and left directions due to earthquake. SOLUTION: This fireproof wall is constituted by a fireproof band support member whose both end parts are fixed on a floor skeleton on joint part sides of the buildings on the right and left build through the joint part so as to be substantially U shape and which can follow the shake and movement even if the buildings on the right and left shake and move in different forward and backward directions and a pair of fireproof bands whose one end parts are fixed on the floor skeleton on the joint part sides of the buildings on the right and left, respectively, and whose other end parts supported on the fireproofing band support member are arranged so as to overlap mutually by a predetermined amount.
