PURPOSE: Operation structure of a rear safety plate for a truck is provided to fix a rear safety plate in a rear part of a truck by installing a gear in a rotating shaft of the vehicle frame, and to lift up the rear safety plate conveniently by turning the gear with an operator. CONSTITUTION: An operating system of a rear safety plate(2) is composed of the rear safety plate connected to a vehicle frame(1) by a rotating shaft, and moved up and down; a first gear(10) having a rotating handle(20); a second gear(50) installed in the rotating shaft connecting the vehicle frame to the rear safety plate, and engaged with the first gear; plural fixing holes separated from the central axis of the first gear; and a fixing pin(40) inserted to the fixing hole to fix the first gear. The rear safety plate is turned around the rotating shaft with pulling the fixing pin from the fixing hole and turning the handle. The first gear is fastened with inserting the fixing pin to the fixing hole of the first gear in placing the rear safety plate. The rear safety plate is lifted up conveniently with turning the gear by the rotating handle.
