PURPOSE: A web page transmission system and method on the internet is provided to execute scripts embedded a web page, to make an image of the image to be transmitted, and to transmit the image via a fax or an e-mail. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises steps of a user accessing a web server(200), the web server displaying a web page(201), the user requesting a transmission of a web page by clicking on a fax/mail transmission icon linked over the web page(202), the web server requesting the fax/mail transmission to a management server(203), the management server authenticating the user based on authentication data stored in a database and offering the web page for the fax/mail transmission(204,205), the user inputting a receiver, a receiving method, and a transmission result check method(207), the management server checking an effectiveness of the URL of the web page to be transmitted(208), the management server extracting the web page and transmitting the page to a conversion server, the conversion server converting the web page into image type data and transmitting the image type data to a fax/mail server(209), the fax/mail server transmitting the image of the web page to the receiver designated by the user(210), the fax/mail server storing transmission specifications(211), and the user checking the transmission of the web page(212).
